Sandra Rabon Corley

Sandra Rabon Corley, 79, of Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving children. Sandra was born to Juanita and Homer Rabon and lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, whose love and kindness touched everyone who knew her. A faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for over 50 years, Sandra loved the Lord deeply and lived out her faith through quiet acts of service. She especially had a heart for visiting and sitting with shut-ins and was often a caregiver and source of comfort to friends in need. Her compassion, generosity, and steady presence were reflections of her strong Christian faith. Sandra’s greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for those she loved, and creating a warm, welcoming home. She was fun-loving, caring, and a wonderful mother and grandmother whose legacy will live on through generations. She is survived by her three children: Anita Sigmon (William), Michael Corley (Jeri), and Amy Barringer (Eric). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Henry Barringer, Sara Barringer, Chloe Brightman (Matthew), Claire Cole (Brandon), Camden Corley, Angela Newsome (Michael), Aimee Kluttz (Nolan), William Sigmon II (Cheyenne), Amanda Hart (Tristan), and Damion Sigmon (Dazie), as well as 13 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Bruce Corley; her parents, Juanita and Homer Rabon; and her brother, Stephen Rabon. The family will receive friends at Summersett Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2 PM in Summersett Memorial Chapel.
