Carol Snider Cauble

Carol Snider Cauble, 88, of Salisbury, went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Trinity Oaks Health and Rehab Center in Salisbury, NC. Born July 1, 1937 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Snider of Spencer, NC. She was a graduate of Spencer High School Class of 1955 and completed several courses at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was employed with the Rowan County Parks and Recreation Department from 1970 until 1985, then with the Piedmont Correctional Institution from 1995 until 2000 and retired shortly thereafter. She was a past member of Central United Methodist Church in Spencer NC, of Franklin Presbyterian Church, Salisbury, NC, where she was a member of the church choir, Sunday School and Evening Circle and of Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith where she sang in the choir. She also had numerous hobbies that included dancing, traveling, cooking and her special card ministry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved and devoted husband, Bob Cauble on February 25, 2008. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl Grubb (husband Randy) of Cary, Tammy Brown of Salisbury, Wendy Peeler (husband Mark) of Rockwell; stepdaughter Laura Ann Murph (husband Steven) of Salisbury. Also grandchildren, Ben Grubb, Cameron Grubb, Blair Peeler, Nicole Peeler, Chance Brown and great-grandchildren, Alani Grubb, Ariel Grubb, Aylah Grubb, James Grubb, Merrill Grubb, Elainna Peeler; and Carol’s brothers, Dana Snider of Salisbury, NC and Ron Snider (wife Louise) of Enterprise, Alabama. The family extends their warmest thanks to all the care givers responsible for taking care of Carol during her final years, including the Trinity Oaks staff, Novant Health Hospice and members of Nazareth Community Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Summersett Memorial Chapel with burial following at Rowan Memorial Park cemetery.
