Roy Calvin Trexler Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Roy Calvin Trexler, 83, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at his residence. He was born April 5, 1939 to the late Lewis Elexander Trexler and Fannie Henrietta McBride. He served 8 years in the National Guard. Roy worked for 47 years at W.S. Tyler where he was plant manager until his retirement. Roy was a private pilot and a member and Vice President of the Experimental Aircraft Association of Rowan County. He was an avid beekeeper and a member of the Rowan County Beekeepers Association. In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles and water skiing with his beloved wife at the helm. He was an expert woodworker, metal detector, banjo player, and he loved the Blues Brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Trexler. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Jane Kennedy Trexler; daughter, Julie Ann Trexler Wagoner and husband Derek; grandson, Gage Wagoner and brother, Lewis E.
