Robert Moose Glover

March 4, 1940 - January 23, 2022

Mr. Robert Moose Glover, 81, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Born March 4, 1940 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late Charles Hilbert Glover and Julia Moose Glover. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School and attended Western Carolina University. He was owner/operator of R&L Glover Enterprises, prior to that, he worked for Wagoner Construction for over 40 years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he was very active, serving on numerous committees. He received the church’s very first “Silent Angel” award. He has left his mark on Rowan County through his many years of construction. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles H. Glover, Jr. and John T. Glover. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Linda Ervin Glover; daughters, Lisa G. Evans (Bruce) Samantha G. Dagenhart (Todd) Julie G. Hlavacek (John) all of Salisbury; sister, Susan G. Lippard of Salisbury; grandchildren, Bryce Evans, Justin Evans, Olivia Dagenhart, Sydney Hlavacek and Reid Hlavacek. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sanctuary with Rev. Dr. Rhodes Woolly officiating. The family will receive friends in Peeler Hall following the service. Memorials may be made to G2Gfund c/o St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 W. Innes Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
