Ramona Gosnell Edwards

July 16, 1931 - April 29, 2022

Ramona Gosnell Edwards, 90, of China Grove, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville. Born July 16, 1931 in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of the late Troy Gosnell and Geraldine Bowen Gosnell. She was educated in Greenville County Schools and graduated from Spartanburg Community College. She was a X-Ray Technologists for 40 years. She was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Kinston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Thomas Edwards; son, William Thomas Edwards; four brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon Lynn Edwards of China Grove; Michael Wayne Edwards (Sharon) of China Grove, Gail Alise Williams (Don) of Pikeville; grandchildren, Sarah Carroll, Cameron Edwards (Ali) , Patrick Edwards (Mari) and Mary Candice Caldwell (Logan) , Shelley Miller, Charles Edwards and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
