Mary Harriet Patterson Kluttz, 78, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at The Laurels of Salisbury. Born December 16, 1943 in Durham, she was the daughter of the late John “Pat” Patterson and Ruth Rufty Patterson. She was a graduate of North Rowan High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, drawing and art. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married August 16, 1964, Robert Calvin Kluttz on April 12, 2020; and a brother Danny Patterson Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Thomas Kluttz (Lisa) of Salisbury; daughter, Julie Kluttz Broderick of Maryland; brothers, Rufty Patterson and Johnny Patterson both of Spencer; grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Trayvon, Zakiya and Elijah. A visitation will be held from 10 – 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Summersett Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11a.m. at Rowan Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Thomas officiating.
