James Perry Fuller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend, James “Jim” Perry Fuller passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, Sunday, May 15, 2022. A life-long resident of Rowan County, he was born in Spencer, North Carolina to John Perry and Lucy Edith Roper Fuller on April 28, 1931. Jim graduated from Spencer High School, class of 1950, after which he enlisted in the Navy where he was stationed in San Diego, California, and Japan. Upon his honorable discharge in 1954, Jim attended Catawba College. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by sisters Melba Ann Fuller Hatley (d. William) and Johnnie Doris Fuller Julian (d. Jim). His family was blessed to have him, a gentle, generous, kind man, through all his 91 years. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends and never met a dog he didn’t like. Jim is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Kluttz Fuller; sisters Peggy Ruth Fuller Stoudemire (d. Jay) Gemayel (d. Tom) of Spencer, NC; Mary Ella Fuller File (Francis) of Spartanburg, SC, and numerous adoring nieces and nephews. Judy would like to extend a special thank you to family and friends as well as the Community Home Care and Hospice staff, especially Carrie, Amanda, Darlene, Kelsie, and Misty for all their care and support. An interment service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, at Lebanon Lutheran Church, Cleveland, North Carolina with Pastor Carroll Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lebanon Lutheran Church, 1200 Thompson Road, Cleveland, NC 27013 or Community Home Care and Hospice, 1308 Davie Avenue, Statesville, NC 28677.
