Grace Kimball Kepley

December 9, 1925 - April 13, 2022

Grace Kimball Kepley, 96, died at home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 following a period of declining health. Born on December 9, 1925 in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lee Kimball and Myrtle Ann Morgan Kimball. She graduated from Boyden High School in 1942, receiving both the Math and Latin Medals. She served as the Secretary/Treasurer of Kepley-Crowell Insurance Inc. She actively supported her husband and her sons in their membership and leadership of Boy Scout Troop 448, participating in hiking and camping trips over the years. She was a member of Coburn Memorial United Methodist Church, serving for many years as church treasurer and member of the United Methodist Women and the Homemakers Sunday School Class. Grace is survived by her husband of 72 years, Jack Simpson Kepley and two sons, Jack S. Kepley, Jr. and wife Jo Ann and William K. Kepley and wife Anna; her grandchildren, Dawn Carrier and husband Marshall, Heather Unger and husband Martin, Nathan Kepley, and Molly Bostic and husband Danny; grandson-in-law Jacob Hackamack and wife Heather. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Chase Carrier; Kelsey, Katie, Carson and Cody Unger; Isaac and Elias Bostic and Mazie Hackamack. Grace was predeceased by four sisters, three brothers, her daughter, Grace Kimball “Kim” Kepley and her granddaughter, Sarah Kepley Hackamack. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 2–3 p.m. at Summersett Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in Summersett Memorial Chapel with Rev.
