Nancy Dulli Niederman

Nancy Dulli Niederman, 75, of Salisbury, passed peacefully Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Alston Brook Nursing Center, Lexington. Born June 25, 1936 in Hamilton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Edna Mae Koehler Dulli and Edgar H. Dulli. She graduated from Fairfield High School, Fairfield, OH. Mrs. Niederman was employed at Zimmerman’s Department Store for a number of years until it closed and at the Thread Shed Clothing Store for over 20 years with her daughter and son-in-law.. She was a former member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and a recent member of Christiana Lutheran Church. She was a long standing member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA) and was honored as a Southern Auxiliary of the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary Life Member on November 14, 2004. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edgar E. Dulli and Neil Dulli. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronald L. Niederman; daughters, Cynthia Ann Loflin and husband Dave of Salisbury, Wendy Ann Murray and husband, Wayne of Lexington; son, Ronald K. Niederman and wife Marsha of Salisbury; grandchildren, Adam and wife Jennifer, Anna Lacey and fiancé Brandon, Maryann, Madeline, Jessica Taylor and Jarrett; great grandchild, Adelyn; sister-in-law, Paula Dulli of Naperville, IL, brother-in-law, Neil Niederman and wife Roberta of Union, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM – Wednesday (June 29) at Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Carl Haynes, minister of Christiana Lutheran Church, officiating. A private inurnment service will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday at the Summersett Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, PO Box 1491, Lexington, NC 27293, Alzheimer’s Association, 300 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215 or Christiana Lutheran Church, 6190 US Hwy 52, Salisbury, NC 28146. A special thanks to the caregivers and nurses at Alston Brooks Nursing Center, Lexington for the care they gave Mrs. Niederman.
