Charles "Ken" Kenneth Adams

Charles "Ken" Kenneth Adams, 76, of Statesville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Born in Statesville on October 10, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles Rex Adams and Elgin Sigmon Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Adams. Ken received his degree from Catawba Valley Technical Institute and retired from North American Products after 38 years of service. He had also worked for Union Grove Saw and Knife Company. Ken was a faithful servant of God, a strong prayer warrior, an encourager and friend to all. Over the years, he served as an Elder at Shiloh Tabernacle, later attended New Life Fellowship and over the past 10 years, Ken was a faithful member of Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle, serving on the Church Council and playing guitar with the Praise Team. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Vicki Hardy Adams; his children, Robin Adams, Kent (Cheryl) Adams, Patrick (Stacie) Patterson, Trudy Patterson Dillard, Kelly (John) Grubaugh, Kevin Brown, and Misti (Jason) Taylor; nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jeffrey (Janet) Adams and Blaine Adams and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle 135 Village Point Drive Statesville, NC 28625. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Pastor Max Hayes, Pastor Tammy James and Pastor Lisa Moore officiating.
