Mrs. Ann Raby Howard

Ann Raby Howard, age 64, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Rockwell United Methodist Church. Ann was born December 7, 1950 in Mooresville the daughter of Betty Livengood Lippard of Salisbury and the late Robert Eugene Lippard. She was a 1969 graduate of East Rowan High School and worked for Sherrill and Smith CPA for 44 years. Mrs. Howard was a member of Rockwell United Methodist Church, J.V. Hall Sunday School Class, Bell Choir and the Livengood Peeler Wood Post 448 Auxillary in Granite Quarry. Mrs. Howard was an avid sports fan especially the University of Tennessee Vols fan. Preceding her in death in addition to her father was her husband Samuel Lee Howard on November 6, 2012 whom she married January 2, 1977. Those left to cherish her memories are her mother Betty Livengood Lippard of Salisbury; daughters Anita Michelle Reid (Eric) of China Grove, Margaret Jean Goldin (Jesse) of Salisbury, Alicia Dawn Howard of Memphis, TN, Allison Denise Howard of Memphis, TN; step-son Kelly Eugene Howard of Knoxville, TN; step-daughter Leigh Ann Stubbs (Jack) of China Grove; brother Rodney Eugene Lippard of Salisbury; grandchildren Jonathon Lee Basinger (Ashley) of Concord, Justin Eugene Basinger (Kayla) of Salisbury, Amber Nicole Adkins of Spencer, Amanda Michelle Clawson of China Grove, Kayla Madison Reid of China Grove, Joseph Basinger of China Grove, Cierra Stubbs of China Grove and Keirsten Howard of Knoxville, Carly Goldin of Salisbury; great-grandchildren Brycen, Jenson, Sam and Connor. Service: 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, at Rockwell United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Charles Curtis Mrs. Howard will lie in state from 5-6:00 PM . Visitation following the service Wednesday until 8:00 PM in Church Fellowship Hall. Graveside service: 1:00 PM Thursday, August 20, at Westlawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
