Ally Shulenburger

Allyson Halee Shulenburger, lovingly known as Ally, 20, of Mt. Ulla, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Novant Health – Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Born January 12, 1998 in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of Christopher Wayne Shulenburger and Tressa Curlee Shulenburger, who survive. Ally was a graduate of West Rowan High School – Class of 2016 and was a full-time student at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. She was in direct sales with Premier Jewelry. Ally was the kind of person everyone should strive to be. She was hard working, loved her family endlessly and would do anything for anyone, not asking for anything in return. She will be remembered for the good things, and the memories that made everyone love her. Her laugh would warm your soul and her smile would bring joy to the saddest person. Words cannot convey all that she was. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Some of her hobbies included crafting, crocheting, cooking, searching for treasures at flea markets, watching good movies, enjoying good coffee, but most of all being a daughter, granddaughter, sister, a loving Aunt, niece and friend. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Chris and Tess (Paul Wiedenmann); two sisters, Lauryn Elizabeth Crandall (Steven) and Rebecka Brooke Shulenburger (Justin Wiles) ; one brother, Bobby Dale Shulenburger; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Vicki Shulenburger; maternal grandparents, Richard and Glenda Hunning; aunts and uncles, Johnny Shulenburger, Tonya and Daniel Harrington, James and Misty Shulenburger, Heath Curlee, Joey and Julie Noblitt, Robin and Patsy Agner, Rick and Donnett Curlee, Eddie and Lisa Jackson, Gary Benfield and Raymond Condrey; nieces, Ashton Caperton and Mkenzi Crandall along with baby Crandall and baby Wiles; her canine companion, Janie and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Summersett Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Summersett Memorial Chapel with Rev. J.E. Earwood officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
